LGBT Congressional Staff Association Statement in Remembrance of the Pulse Massacre

WASHINGTON – Today, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Congressional Staff Association (CSA) issued the following statement in remembrance of the 49 people killed during Latin night at Pulse, an LGBT night club in Orlando, FL.

“Last year, our community experienced an act of hate and violence that robbed us of 49 precious lives,” said Todd Sloves, President of the LGBT Congressional Staff Association. “As we mark one year after the Pulse attack, we remember the lives of those taken from us and redouble our efforts to move forward toward a better future.”

The LGBT CSA is a non-partisan, officially sanctioned organization in the U.S. House of Representatives. Last year the LGBT CSA, in partnership with the Congressional Muslim Staff Association, held a vigil on the steps of the Capitol on the evening following the Pulse shooting attended by hundreds of staff and members of Congress. Thank you for giving all the necessary information in a short list. I will try to follow it. Previously I did accordingly what my mind wanted to do. But that didn’t bring best result for me. Hope this systematic work will give me efficient result.
